I was born in Northern Germany and have lived in Israel since 1978.

Love brought me here. My husband is Israeli, we met while I lived in England for 5 years. 

After getting married we moved to Israel and started our family. Our three sons are now grown up and I also have three grandchildren.

I also received most of my education in Israel, from my high school certificate up to a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration at Bar-Ilan University. For over two decades, I have been working in two of Israel's leading industries: the citrus and hi-tech industries. I also work as a state-certified translator for German, Hebrew and English.

Israel has long been my new home, a country that I would not exchange with any other. The people of Israel are very open, friendly and helpful. You feel very quickly at home here.

Of course, the landscapes and history of Israel are no less fascinating than its people. Excursions and hikes in Israel have always been a passion that I have now turned into a profession. After completing a two-year course in 2014, I became a state-licensed tour guide. In the same year I started my Master's degree program in Israel Studies and Archeology at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan. The Master's degree was awarded to me in June 2019.

In early 2017, I also completed a museum guide course at the Yad-Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.
